The Sprint may be the shortest distance race, but it’s still a favorite amongst both new and returning racers. It’s the perfect distance for those looking to start their Spartan journey. The Sprint also allows returning racers a manageable distance to see how far they can push themselves. Delivering 20+ obstacles over 3+ miles, you’ll never run the same race twice. Once you complete the sprint you are 1/3 on your Spartan TRIFECTA: The ultimate Spartan achievement.

Spartan Volunteers are the backbone of every Spartan Race. As a Spartan Race volunteer, you will ensure that the racers and spectators have an epic experience.

Spartan Volunteers work closely with Spartan Race staff in the following areas:

1) Obstacle enforcement
2) Building the course and festival area
3) Registration
4) Spartan merchandise sales
5) Start and Finish Line operations
6) Bag check for racers
7) Kids race operations
