Jacksonville's NFL franchise, the Jaguars, play on Sundays in the Fall at TIAA Bank Field. The Jaguars have been Jacksonville's team since 1995 and serve a loyal and rabid base of fans.

THE PLAYERS is the PGA Tour's premier event hosted at the iconic TPC Sawgrass. In 2019, the tournament moved back to March.

The Armada are Jacksonville's pro soccer team competing in the NPSL.

The Axemen are Jacksonville's rugby team, consistently at the top of the USARL rankings.

5-Time ABA Champions, the Jacksonville Giants are Jacksonville's American Basketball Association team and host games at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

The Icemen are the ECHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose. Games are hosted at VyStar Veteran's Memorial Arena.

The Sharks are Jacksonville's arena football team, competing in the NAL and hosting games at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

The Jumbo Shrimp, formerly known as the Suns, play at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville as the Miami Marlins' AA affiliate.

Jacksonville University competes in the A-Sun across 18 sports including football, men's & women's basketball, soccer, men's lacrosse, baseball and softball. In 1970, the Dolphins were NCAA Tournament runners-up to champion UCLA.

Edward Waters College competes in the NAIA in 10 sports including men's & women's basketball, baseball, softball, and track.

Florida State College of Jacksonville offers 6 sports including men's & women's basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball and tennis.

Trinity Baptist College competes in the NCCAA across 6 sports.

UNF is a member of the A-Sun Conference and competes across 17 sports including men's & women's basketball, soccer, golf, baseball and softball. The Osprey Men's Basketball team participated in the 2015 NCAA Tournament.
